UNA Board Vacancy Decision

Earlier this month UNA Director Ali Mojdehi resigned from the UNA Board of Directors, which left a vacancy on the Board. The Board reviewed their options for filling the vacancy and have decided to leave the position vacant until the next UNA election, scheduled for the fall of 2024.

In determining whether to fill the position through appointment, as allowed under the UNA Bylaws, the Board decided that a more democratic process for determining the new Director should be followed.

Noting that arriving at a new process would take several months to design and implement, and with the term of the current Board of Directors ending in 2024, the Board decided to move forward with the remaining roster of Directors.
