Before You Come to the Community Centre
- If you are required to show proof of vaccination, visit gov.bc.ca/vaccinecard to download your BC Vaccine Card. If you need a paper copy of your BC Vaccine Card, you can ask a friend or family member to print your electronic card or call 1-833-838-2323 to get your card mailed to you. If you were not immunized in BC or do not have a BC Vaccine Card for any other reason, please visit gov.bc.ca/vaccinecard for a list of other accepted vaccine documentation.
- The Provincial Health Officer’s orders on face coverings is still in effect, so please bring a mask. More information about mask requirements and exemptions can be found on the UNA website.
Arriving at the Community Centre
- Enter the Wesbrook Community Centre or the Old Barn Community Centre through the main entrance. A proof of vaccination checkpoint will be located at the main entrance near the reception area. Wait for your turn to be attended by a UNA staff.
- The UNA will not keep a record of your vaccination status information. If they are required, program participants and spectators will need to present their proof of vaccination, each time they come to class.
While at the Community Centre
- Exercise patience and expect wait times. Community centre staff are doing their best to keep the community safe and provide quality service during this unusual time. We apologize for any unforeseen delays. To avoid being late for class, please arrive 5-10 minutes early in case there is a line-up at the main entrance while we are streamlining the vaccine verification process.
- Wear a mask. The Provincial Health Officer’s orders on face coverings is still in effect, so please bring a mask. More information about mask requirements and exemptions can be found at myuna.ca/mask-requirements.
- Respect other peoples’ privacy. If it is required, someone’s vaccination status will be checked by a UNA staff member. There is no need to solicit this information from your fellow patrons or from your instructor. If you have any questions about how the UNA is enforcing the Provincial Health Officer’s order, please email us at programs@myuna.ca or call 604-822-4227.
