WINTER THUNDERLAND

Hey sports fans! We have an exciting T-Bird event coming up that you definitely do not want to miss! WINTER THUNDERLAND is UBC’s first ever holiday themed festival event highlighting Women in Sport. This festival event kicks off with a public skate followed by a hockey game featuring UBC Women’s Hockey. The event also includes a festival zone with fun all-ages winter-themed activations:
 

• Large inflatables
• Air hockey table
• Bubble hockey table
• Tic-tac-toe hockey skills game
• Downhill skiing simulator
• Gingerbread-making station
• Holiday craft-making station (cards and/or ornament making)
• T-BIRD SWAG GIVEAWAYS
• And much more!

Tickets are just $5 for UNA residents, and the public skate and festival zone are FREE with purchase of your $5 hockey ticket. The event kicks off at 12:30pm at Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre on UBC campus, a 10 minute walk from Wesbrook Village. Full details and to buy tickets visit gothunderbirds.ca/wthunderland.
