Preparing for Medical Emergencies

Please join us as Helen Aqua presents best practices for preparing for medical emergencies. This talk will include information on In Case of Emergency (ICE) which is a compilation of vital medical information that health care providers and emergency responders can use to give you the best possible care in a timely manner. Also included will be how they will know who you are, crucial medical information about you (severe drug allergies, etc) and how to contact your family or friends if you cannot talk.

Helen Aqua is an Advanced Care Planning Facilitator. Her studies have included topics ranging from Death Doulas and Palliative Care to the role of Social Workers and Spiritual Care Providers during serious illness.
