Front Desk Attendant

The Front Desk Attendant will be providing general customer service, administrative, and facility preparation duties for the UNA as required, this person is the first point of contact for patrons of both UNA community centres.

Event Coordinator

The Festivals & Event Coordinator can turn ideas into well-executed realities. The role is pivotal in planning and coordinating the logistics of key UNA events. Reporting to the Assistant Manager of Recreation and working within the community engagement team this position is all about ensuring every aspect is handled with precision, so UNA events run smoothly from start to finish.

Social Media Specialist

The UNA Social Media Specialist (part-time) is responsible for developing, scheduling, and managing content across social media platforms to enhance the organization’s digital presence and community engagement. Reporting to the Communications Manager, the Social Media Specialist will support digital marketing efforts by creating engaging content, monitoring platform analytics, and assisting with communication strategies aligned with the organization’s goals.

Spin Instructor

Reporting to the Fitness Supervisor, the spin instructor will be responsible for helping individuals improve vitality and their quality of life by teaching safe and correct workout techniques that will achieve personal goals. You must be a certified Spin Instructor who has a strong passion for health and wellness.

Camp Leader

The UNA is looking for an enthusiastic and responsible Camp Leader to plan and facilitate nine weeks of summer camp for children ages 5-11. This person will help us to foster an active, healthy, and connected UNA community. UNA Camps offer children the opportunity to try a variety of activities based on the physical, social, emotional and cognitive stages of child development with the goal of creating a memorable experience for every child

Personal Trainer

Reporting to the Fitness Supervisor, you will be responsible for listening to various clients about their personal goals and developing personalized training programs to help clients achieve their fitness goals at (primarily) Old Barn Community Centre and Wesbrook Community Centre. You possess the knowledge to help individuals improve vitality and their quality of life by teaching safe and correct workout techniques. You must be a certified BCRPA of equivalent personal trainer who has a strong passion for health and wellness, be confident in providing demonstrations of technique, and provide tips that will help clients achieve their desired physical fitness state.
