Campus Vision 2050 Launches First Phase of Engagement
By UNA
UBC is taking the opportunity to engage residents in imagining the university campus and community of the future – one that supports UBC’s academic mission, meets our individual and collective needs, and enables the university community to thrive.
Campus Vision 2050 will be developed through comprehensive, transparent and inclusive engagement with xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, campus Indigenous communities, students, faculty, residents, staff and alumni.
The Campus Vision 2050 website will provide information and updates throughout the Campus Vision 2050 process, keeping everyone informed, letting everyone know how to get involved, sharing feedback collected from the community, and detailing the outcomes.
The first phase of engagement where community members can provide their input and feedback starts January 20 to February 17, 2022. Various events, open houses and workshops are listed on the website as well.
Campus Vision 2050 is a comprehensive, 2.5-year public planning process to update two key land use policy documents for the Vancouver campus, the Land Use Plan and the Vancouver Campus Plan.
