The 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the University Neighbourhoods Association (UNA) was held on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 7 p.m. at the Wesbrook Community Centre, located at 3335 Webber Lane.

      • Special Resolution A: Byelections, Appointments, and Minor Amendments BE IT RESOLVED THAT, as a special resolution by a majority of not less than two thirds of the members who vote at the Annual General Meeting of members of the Association, the Bylaws of the Association be altered to implement a new by-election and appointment process for Directors and to make minor changes as per the amendments included in the notice of the Annual General Meeting.

How to Vote at the AGM

In-Person
Upon registration at the venue, UNA members must present a valid form of ID to receive their voting cards (for motions) and paper ballots (for special resolutions). Please arrive early to ensure that you have your materials before the Chair calls the meeting to order. Voting cards and ballots will not be reissued if lost.

By Proxy
If you are unable to attend the AGM, you may appoint another UNA member as a proxyholder on your behalf by completing the enclosed 2024 AGM Proxy Form. A UNA member who is not a director can be a proxyholder for at most five other members. Proxyholders will receive their voting materials during registration. Please arrive early to ensure that you have your materials before the Chair calls the meeting to order. Voting cards and ballots will not be reissued if lost.

  • Government-issued ID and utility bill (with current UNA address)
