UNA Election 2024: Voting Starts Today
By UNA
Voting for the 2024 UNA Board of Directors Election started on Monday, November 4, 2024 at 12 noon. This year’s election will be held electronically and not by physical ballots. Voting credentials were sent to registered UNA Society Members by email. The last day to vote is November 26.
There are nine candidates in the running for seven seats on the Board. Information about the candidates and their candidate statements can be found online. The All-Candidates Forum is scheduled on November 14 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Wesbrook Community Centre’s Social Room and streamed on YouTube. The forum is an opportunity for UNA Society Members to ask candidates questions and for candidates to engage in an open debate about their platforms and goals should they be elected to the UNA Board of Directors.
For those needing assistance with voting, please come to the voting kiosks at the Wesbrook Community Centre and Old Barn Community Centre, or email elections@myuna.ca. More information including how to vote, can be found on the UNA Election page.
If you did not get your voting credentials by email, please check your email’s SPAM folder and that you are a registered UNA Society Member (this is NOT the same as having a UNA Card). Once both have been checked, please email elections@myuna.ca. The deadline to register to vote is November 22.
