Campus Vision 2050 Update: Land Use Plan Public Hearing and Info Session
By UNA
As a follow-up to last week’s update, the UBC Board of Governors has formally referred the draft amended UBC Land Use Plan for the Point Grey Campus Lands to a public hearing, which has been scheduled to begin on November 7 at 4 p.m. in the Jack Poole Hall at the Robert H. Lee Alumni Centre.
UBC Campus + Community Planning has provided a few ways to participate, including speaking or attending in-person or online, and submitting pre-recorded video and/or written comments. Residents can visit campusvision2050.ubc.ca/lup for details and for information on how to register. Advanced registration is encouraged, but not required. The comments collected will form part of a report to the UBC Board of Governors for their December 5 meeting where they will consider any refinements to the Land Use Plan.
UBC Campus + Community Planning is also holding an information session about the draft amended Land Use Plan on November 1, 4-6 p.m. in the Wong-Trainor Welcome Centre at the Robert H. Lee Alumni Centre. Copies of the Land Use Plan will be available during the information session, and staff will be present to answer questions.
The UNA Board of Directors are continuing their review of the documents and are continuing their work in representing the interests of residents. For information on the UNA Board’s feedback on CV2050, so far, so far, please visit this page.
