Community Consultation on Proposed Bylaw Amendments
By UNA
Earlier this year, the University Neighbourhoods Association (UNA) consulted with the community regarding the possibility of amending the UNA Bylaws to move from paper ballots to electronic voting for the 2024 UNA Director Elections.
The feedback received indicated that there is significant support for the proposed change (You can learn more about that process and the results by visiting myuna.ca/electronic-voting), and proposed amendments to the UNA Bylaws to implement online voting to replace voting by paper ballot are being considered.
In order to proceed with the change in the elections process, UNA Members must approve the changes to the UNA Bylaws at the upcoming UNA Annual General Meeting (AGM) in September.
Prior to bringing the bylaw amendments forward to the AGM, the UNA would like to invite the community to review and provide feedback on the proposed changes as outlined in the documents below:
Please submit your feedback and comments to the UNA by June 7, 2023 by emailing agm@myuna.ca.
